These terms cover the website at ohm.wbnns.com, the extension it generates, and the ohm extension on the Chrome Web Store. By using any of them you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Analytics and cookie consent

ohm.wbnns.com shows no cookie banner, by design. This section is the consent notice instead.

By loading or continuing to use this site, you consent to Google Analytics 4 measurement in full, with every measurement feature enabled. Specifically, you consent to all of the following:

• Google Analytics cookies (the _ga family) being written to and read from your browser, and equivalent identifiers held in local storage.
• Collection and processing of your IP address, approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, referrer, and the pages you open.
• Automatic measurement of your behavior on the pages: page views, scroll depth, outbound link clicks, site search, file downloads, video engagement, and form interactions.
• Custom events for actions on the generator, such as choosing an install path or downloading a generated extension.
• Google Signals: if you are signed in to a Google account with Ads Personalization on, Google may join this activity to that account across your devices, and use it for cross-device reporting and ad personalization.
• Advertising features and remarketing audiences built from this activity, and the sharing of the data with Google as a processor under Google's own terms.
• Transfer, storage, and processing of that data by Google on servers that may sit outside your country, including in the United States.

In Google's consent-mode terms, every consent signal on this site — analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, functionality_storage, personalization_storage, and security_storage — is set to granted for every visitor, and nothing here asks you to narrow that.

What is never collected: the filter rules you paste into the generator. That text is parsed in your browser tab and is not sent anywhere, and no analytics event carries its contents. The privacy policy describes the same collection in plainer terms.

You can withdraw consent at any time by leaving the site, blocking the tag with a content blocker, blocking cookies in your browser settings, or installing Google's opt-out add-on. Nothing on the site is gated behind analytics, so blocking it costs you no functionality.

The extension

The Chrome Web Store extension and any extension you generate here contain no analytics and no telemetry, and have no network access. Nothing in this consent section applies to them. See the privacy policy for what they do and do not touch.

Acceptable use

Use ohm for filtering your own view of the web. Do not use the site to break the law, to attack the site or its hosting, or to build filter lists as part of harassing another person. You are responsible for the rules you write and for whatever the sites you filter say in their own terms about modifying their pages in your browser.

No warranty

ohm is free software provided as-is under the MIT license, with no warranty of any kind. It can break a page, miss a rule, or stop working after a site changes its markup. To the fullest extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any damage or loss arising from your use of the site, the generator, or the extension. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived under the law where you live.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
